Domain Name Dispute

We were retained when a long-term domain name holder received a Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaint from a venture capital-funded firm trying to capture the domain. When it became clear through negotiation that the firm was trying to use the UDRP process instead of engaging in good faith negotiations to purchase the domain from our client, we prepared a UDRP response, including supporting documentation and affidavits to submit to the UDRP tribunal. Based on this response, the tribunal found in our client’s favor, and they were able to keep their domain name.
