Protecting a Software Developer's Rights

We worked with a software developer involved in a contentious exit from his company. The disagreements between our client and the other company owners involved the rights to the software code our client developed, as well as issues related to our client’s equity in the company. Ultimately, we negotiated our client’s exit from the company, including securing his rights to the code he developed and obtaining a satisfactory payout related to his company equity. Our background in software development was critical in drafting the final agreement that defined our client’s rights in his code.
