Software Licensing Dispute

We were retained as consultants for an out-of-state law firm to assist with technical issues outside its normal purview. Specifically, the firm’s long-time client discovered that one of its customers had been decompiling and recreating its software products to avoid having to license the products. We used our development and programming experience to help investigate the software at issue, advise on discovery matters, and coordinate work with several technical experts until the matter was resolved via settlement.
